Charitable Giving

| January 15, 2019

As business owners, we are often asked to support many different and worthy non-profit organizations in our city. We are blessed to be part of a community that gives; over 90% of our clients alone include charitable giving in their financial plans. So just how do you decide which organization to support?

Our firm wants to help make the biggest impact and help the largest demographic of people possible. Which is why we support the Care Assurance System for the Aging and Homebound (CASA). A few of the numbers: out of the 2425 clients CASA helped last year, 271 were veterans, 1109 were minorities and over 74% were women. The average household income for Madison County residents is $60,503 per year. The average income of a CASA client is $11,952. Based on our criteria, the decision to support CASA is an easy one.

As Laura has written in the past about the return on investment vs the return on life, I hope everyone looks at which non-profit they can invest in and see the return on life for themselves as well as others.  You won’t regret it.
