With the passing of Halloween, I can say we are well into the Fall stretch, my favorite time of year. Franklin is in Montana hunting elk; Lucas has his deer hunt lined up and I have several client bird hunts on the books.
Along with the expected successes of all our harvests, we are looking forward to closing out the year and starting anew. It has been a tough year; we have all fought the financial headwinds of inflation and market decline. While there was a twist or two that was new, we fell back on our experiences of past market cycles. We broke out tools that haven’t been used or talked about in twenty years and we saw once again, some things never change. Because of our experience, we know the resilience of the markets. We know that having a process is better than reacting with emotion.
We have mid-term elections coming up in a few days, I hope everyone is planning on voting. This could be one of the most pivotal elections in our lifetimes.
