As many of you may know, I started the local chapter of G.R.I.T.S., Girls Really Into Shooting, The Tennessee Valley G.R.I.T.S. To provide you all with an update, we meet the 3rd Saturday morning of every month at Limestone Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clay's at 9am. Our host, Wayne Mitchell has put up a small course for us to shoot, which is really helping out the ladies who haven't shot before! We now have a core group of 6 lady shooters who come out and shoot, enjoy a potluck brunch and adult beverages afterwards. You can sign up and pay on ScoreChaser.com including purchasing your ammunition.
I would encourage any lady who would like to find out how much fun it is to break targets with a shotgun and enjoy a glass of wine afterwards to come out.
