Pull For Salvation Army

| January 26, 2022

I wanted to share the exciting news that The Salvation Army of Huntsville is having a tournament May 5, 2022, at Limestone Hunting Preserve and Sporting Clays.  Our firm will be providing the cash prizes for the event, $1000 for the first-place team in the morning and afternoon and $250 for the second-place team, morning, and afternoon.  Laura and I are excited and honored to help raise money for this worthwhile organization.  A bit of history, the Salvation Army was formed in 1865 by William and Catherine Booth.  They brought Christianity to the streets, literally!  Many of you see their volunteers ringing bells next to the red kettles during the Christmas Holidays.  Today this organization has grown its mission to include helping the elderly, providing services to our veterans, combating human trafficking and disaster relief.  Laura and I experienced firsthand their commitment to disaster relief when we had a fire at our home in San Rafael.  Their canteen truck was on site almost as quickly as the fire trucks. They provided hot beverages to the firefighters and offered to provide us and our pets with shelter for the evening.  Here in Huntsville, they are a fixture of relief during tornado season.

I can’t think of another organization in this city that touches the lives of so many and offers so many things to help those less fortunate.  I hope you will join me in your support of this organization.

Circle the date on your calendar, when the registrations opens, I will provide you all with the pertinent information.
