It seems like it is a bit early to look back on 2020, but December is always a busy time for us, and I wanted to share with you the highlights. Despite COVID and a very contentious political cycle, we managed to grow again by almost 20%. Our growth was in large part to the referrals that our existing clients gave to us. We are humbled by the trust you place in us and we will work every day to earn that trust. We expanded our virtual capabilities effortlessly as we already had a number of clients that reside out of state and we had the technology in place to do it with all of the clients and prospects who would rather meet on-line rather than in person. We also added new software to aid in portfolio construction and upgraded our retirement/financial planning software to look at many more scenarios and dive deeper into tax avoidance strategies. We still have one or two other offerings that we are anxiously awaiting the beta testing to be complete before we roll them out.
We moved into our new office space and enjoy it immensely. While COVID has prevented us from formally having an open house, we welcome anyone who wants to come by and see us and enjoy an adult beverage. Having the new space and control of who comes in and out has brought piece of mind and gone a long way to keep us all working and not getting sick.
In case any of you missed it, Laura will begin serving on the Investment Advisory Board for The Atlantic Group (TAG) Advisors. We are honored that they asked her, and it came at a perfect time as she is off many of the non-profit boards and organizations she was serving on. She is excited to not only share her expertise but to also see and interact with others and their expertise.
There are many challenges and opportunities that await us all in 2021 and we look forward to the journey with you.
