Prior to joining Cochran Mickels Franklin provided advice with Chatfield Dean & Co in his role as a stockbroker then joined Charles Schwab & CO in the same role.  He soon moved to a team leader role under Laura Mickels at Charles Schwab & Co until the early 2001 then continuing his career at TIAA specializing in non-qualified accounts and insurance until 2019 before joining Fidelity Investments.  In 2010Franklin completed his M.A. in Economics with the University of Colorado Denver, a quantitatively intensive study focusing on statistical microeconomic analysis and in 2016 received the highly respected CFA designation; a rigorous program designed to teach and test competency in financial market knowledge, quantitative, and qualitative investment analysis.  Franklin holds the Series 7, 63 and 65 FINRA licenses.

 

Throughout his career Franklin lived the same principles that CochranMickels believes in.  His dedication and belief in the financial markets, honesty and repeatable processes to create unbiased portfolios sets him above the crowd.  In his personal time Franklin enjoys camping and exploring in America’s great outdoors, bicycling, programming with Python, and finding new ways to make computers handle the rote tasks of life.
